The production features all of the songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by the creators of the film score, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and EGOT-winner Robert Lopez.

You’ll love this fanciful and heartwarming stage adaptation of the celebrated animated film. Join Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, and all of your favorite characters as they embark on an epic, ice-filled journey of self-discovery, camaraderie, and the real meaning of true love.

Adapted for young performers, this musical includes favorite Frozen songs such as “Love Is an Open Door,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?,” and “Let It Go,” as well as wonderful new songs from the Broadway production.

Within a wholesome learning community children work collaboratively playing fun Theatre games, learning scene blocking, lines, and stage directions. This teaches children to confidently speak in front of people. Effective listening and communication allows children to cultivate healthy relationships making new friends.

As in life, things do not always go according to plan. During Theatre games, scene work, rehearsals or performances cast members might forget a line, miss an entrance, or lose focus.

Kids learn to be flexible utilizing problem solving skills working as a team to achieve group goals. Acting enriches literacy and broadens vocabulary with table reads, scene work and musical score readings aloud.

Theatre and Acting fosters confidence, personal development and life skills children benefit from within the home, socially and carry into any career of choice.

SUMMER MUSICAL THEATRE
ABOUT OUR SUMMER MUSICAL CAMPS.

(Ages 4-15)

Theatre prompts children to act, sing and dance simultaneously.

No experience? No problem.

Acting class starts with a fun group warm up geared to prepare the mind and body for the day. Theatre and Acting allows children to experience the joys of a team sport while expanding them cognitively.

By regularly playing Theatre games pragmatic life skills including multitasking, concentration and effective communication, problem solving, and literacy are developed. As iron sharpens iron, Theatre and Acting is a team sport.

Following Theatre games and scene work players and faculty will discuss how games and scenes worked to the advantage of the group: which parts of the Acting activity were challenging, which parts were the most fun. Children will give and receive positive feedback to and from fellow players. Faculty will encourage players and bolster cohesiveness.
