STUDENT OF THE MONTH

1) Tell us about yourself!

My name is Justin E. I am 14 years old, I live in Jennings and have 5 brothers and sisters.

2) What is your favorite hobby?

My favorite hobby is being outside. I like to roller blade and climb trees. Also, I like to tie flies for fly fishing.

3) What got you interested in music?

I’ve been taking piano lessons for 8 years and violin for 1. I had been taking piano lessons for a long time and wanted to do another instrument. I just like the way the violin sounds.

4) What has been the biggest thing you've discovered since starting music lessons with us?

I've gotten a lot better at reading music and that has helped me play better.

5) What is one of your life goals?

One of my music goals is to try out for and make my high school show choir when I'm eligible to try out.

6) Anything else you would like to mention?

Playing music is very hard at times but it’s always fun to keep working at it and to get better. The Music Academy does a great job and the lessons are fun.
